Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 2 September 2026
The measurement tools are free and involve no payment at all. This page covers the paid side: simulation credits and subscriptions. The short version is that unused credits are refundable, consumed ones are not, and a failed render never costs you anything.
What you can buy
Two things, and they behave differently on refund. Credit packs are one-off purchases from $4.99; the credits do not expire and survive a cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically and include a monthly or yearly allowance of simulations that resets each period.
| Purchase | Price | Refundable? |
|---|---|---|
| Starter subscription | $7.99 / month | Cancel any time; unused credits from the current period can be refunded pro rata on request |
| Pro subscription | $17.99 / month | Cancel any time; unused credits from the current period can be refunded pro rata on request |
| Yearly subscription | $49.99 / year | Cancel any time; unused credits from the current period can be refunded pro rata on request |
| 5 simulations pack | $4.99 | Yes, for any credits still unused |
| 12 simulations pack | $10.89 | Yes, for any credits still unused |
| 25 simulations pack | $20.99 | Yes, for any credits still unused |
Unused credits
If you bought credits and have not spent them, email us and we will refund them. There is no time limit and no restocking charge. We will ask which purchase it relates to so we can match it to the right transaction, and the refund is issued to the original payment method by Creem.
Where only some credits have been used, we refund the unused portion at the price you paid per credit.
Credits you have already spent
A credit that has produced a render has consumed the GPU time it paid for, and that cost is not recoverable by us. Those credits are not refundable as a matter of course.
The exception is a result that is broken rather than disappointing — a render that failed, returned a corrupted image, or clearly did not apply the procedure you selected. Those are our problem, not yours. In practice the system returns the credit automatically when a render errors, and if it did not, tell us and we will.
A render you do not like
A simulation is an illustration of a direction, not a promise of a result, and every procedure page says so before you spend anything. A render that worked but did not flatter you is not a fault, and we do not refund it as one.
If a render is systematically wrong for you — the tool consistently fails on your photographs, for instance — that is a different conversation and worth having with us directly.
Cancelling a subscription
Cancel from the management link in the receipt Creem emailed you when you subscribed. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access for the remainder of the period you already paid for.
Cancelling never removes credit packs you bought separately. Those were a distinct purchase and they stay on your account.
Accidental and duplicate charges
If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged for a plan you did not intend to buy, contact us and we will refund it in full. We would rather resolve it directly than have you open a dispute, which costs both sides more and takes longer.
Statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. In the EU and UK, distance-selling rules give a fourteen-day withdrawal right for digital purchases, which you may waive by asking for immediate access — the checkout makes that explicit. Where the right applies and has not been waived, it takes precedence over anything on this page.
How long a refund takes
We respond within two business days. Once approved, Creem issues the refund to the original payment method; how quickly it appears is then up to your bank, and five to ten business days is normal.
How to request a refund
Email hi@thefaceanalysis.com with the email address you paid with and roughly when. That is enough for us to find the transaction. See also the terms of use and the pricing page.
