Bright Spring is warm colouring with unusually high contrast: clear, saturated eyes against skin that is noticeably lighter than the hair. Brightness is the defining property here, not warmth — it is the axis that separates this season from its neighbours, and it is why muted colours, which suit most people, actively drain this one.
Brightness is easier to test than temperature, so start there.

Temperature. Identical brightness; Bright Winter's clear colours are blue-based, Bright Spring's are golden-based. Coral versus fuchsia is the fastest test.
True Spring
Contrast. If saturated colours look loud on you rather than energising, you are the softer True Spring.
This is one of the few seasons where full-strength colour is the right answer.
Warm and defined: golden blonde, bright copper, rich warm brown. Muted or ashy dye jobs cost this season more than any other, because contrast is the thing being spent.
Bright polished gold. High shine matters more than the metal itself — brushed finishes lose the clarity.
Brightness is easier to test than temperature, so start there. Put a saturated turquoise next to a dusty sage. If the sage makes you look tired and the turquoise makes you look awake, you are on the bright side. Look at your eyes in daylight: Bright Springs usually have a visible pattern in the iris — spokes, a clear limbal ring, distinct colour rather than a blend. Then check temperature. Warm brights lean coral and golden; cool brights lean fuchsia and icy.
